Women in the mining sector say they continue to face serious challenges with men in the sector who illegally take over their mines.
Speaking to Great Dyke News 24 reporter Priscilla Makondo, Silobela Small Scale Miners Association Chairperson Martha Moyo said some women have in the past lost their best income sources to men who use the political muscle and gender to takeover mining claims.
They called on the responsible authorities to intervene in the matter.
