Government says it has set aside $2.7 Billion to deal with the wide range of hazards expected to occur in the 2020-21 rainfall season.

Briefing journalists after yesterday’s cabinet meeting, Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa, said the season is likely to be characterised by flash flooding, strong wind and hailstorms.

She urged farmers to reach out to Agritex officers in their areas for advice on planting and other agricultural activities.
